How do I choose the right gift for me?
We start by looking at your personal financial goals. Then, consider your options and the potential benefits of each type of planned gift. You may want:
- to make a gift and obtain current income tax deductions,
- to make a gift that pays income for life,
- to make a gift and reduce your taxable estate,
- to make a gift to Chatham for a period of years, and then pass the assets to your heirs at substantially reduced estate and gift taxes, or
- to make a gift to Chatham and still provide for your heirs.

- a trust, such as a charitable remainder unitrust or annuity trust: at least $50,000
- retirement funds: any amount
- insurance: any amount
