News You Can Use
Welcome to the Alumni Association News Page! Through this section you will be able to keep up on all the latest news at Chatham, as well as about alumnae and graduate alumni in the news. You can also sign up for email updates about the University, and even get some help to publicize your Chatham-related get-together in your home town.

e-News
Once a month the office of university communications publishes e-News, a capsule collection of happenings on campus, as well as links to articles about students, faculty, alumnae and graduate alumni in the news.

Signing up for e-News is quick and easy – just provide us with your name and email address.

Chatham University License Plate

Chatham in the News
If you know of an article about Chatham that appeared in your local newspaper or that you read online, email our office of university communications.

Publicize your Alumni Association event
If you are hosting a Chatham University Alumni Association gathering in your area, the office of university communications can help to publicize your event. To do so, we’ll need the following:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Date and Time of Event
  • Location
  • Name of local newspaper

Email your event information to university communications, and we will prepare a news release for your local newspaper’s calendar listings.

The office of university communications cannot guarantee that a calendar listing will be placed. Many larger national papers, such as the New York Times, Washington Post and L.A. Times, do not accept notices of small, non-public gatherings. Please suggest your best regional paper, whether daily or weekly. Our office will also research papers in your area for a best fit, and will contact the appropriate editor directly. To ensure placement, it is best that we receive notice of your event at least six to eight weeks in advance.
